USG Goes Global does not reserve spots for programs or courses. Students who do not complete steps #3 and #4 within 30 days of submitting their application will be automatically withdrawn. If the withdrawn student completes steps #3 and #4 by March 17, 2027, they can be reinstated to the program (or placed on a waitlist if program is at capacity) and any previous payments will be applied to their program balance.

CANCELLATION POLICY

USG Goes Global reserves the right to alter or cancel programs at any time due to low enrollment or any other appropriate circumstance (including, but not limited to, situations that may endanger the health and/or safety of participants). If USG Goes Global cancels a program after program fee payments have been collected, only the funds that USG Goes Global is able to recover from the third-party service providers can be returned to participants. In the event of course cancellation by USG Goes Global after tuition payments have been made, participants are subject to the tuition refund policy of the institution at which they registered for the courses. USG Goes Global does not have the authority to override an institution’s registration/ payment policies.

All payments made directly to a third-party (such as airfare) are subject to the vendor’s cancellation and refund policies.

Student Refund Schedule:

  • The $350 initial program fee payment is nonrefundable unless the program is canceled by USG Goes Global. Students who withdraw before acceptance or are not accepted may appeal for a refund. Once a student is accepted or the application deadline has passed – whichever occurs first – the initial payment becomes fully nonrefundable.
  • Students who do not receive approval from their institutional representative AND complete their 2nd payment ($650) within 30 days of submitting their application will be automatically notified and withdrawn from the program. If the withdrawn student completes these steps by the final enrollment deadline, they can be reinstated to the program (or placed on a waitlist if program is at capacity) and any previous payments will be applied to their program balance.
  • Students withdrawing within 35 days of the final program fee payment deadline will owe 50% of the program fee.
  • Students withdrawing within 10 days of the final program fee payment deadline will owe 100% of the program fee.
  • Students withdrawing after the final program fee payment deadline will owe 100% of the program fee and will not be eligible to appeal.

Late withdrawal penalties are owed in full, regardless of whether any payments were made prior to the decision to withdraw. Payments made before a late withdrawal are not eligible for refund and will be applied toward the penalty amount due to USG Goes Global. Students who believe they have extenuating circumstances for a late withdrawal may submit an appeal for a waiver of the penalty fee to the USG Goes Global Appeals Committee within 14 days of their withdrawal notification.
