Government Affairs develops and strengthens relationships between the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia and government officials. The office ensures that the strategic goals of the BOR receive recognition and support on both the state and federal levels.

Fort Valley State University Presidential Search Committee Named
The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia named members of the Fort Valley State University Presidential Search Committee. The committee will conduct a national search for a new president to lead one of only three public historically Black colleges and universities in Georgia, and the state’s only 1890 land-grant institution.
