Work Related Musculoskeletal Disorder*

Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorder (WMSDs) occurs from repeated physical movements doing damage to tendons, nerves, muscles, and other soft body tissues resulting from the typical tasks they perform.

A WMSD is potentially serious and can happen even more quickly as a result of poor work practices, technique, and body positions that place unnecessary stress on the tendons and nerves in the hand, wrist, arms, shoulders, neck. and back.
