Project Overview

The objective of the Expression Engine (EE) and Single Sign-On (SSO) Implementation project is to upgrade the current content management system (CMS), Expression Engine, to a supported version, version 5. The CMS is used by website content owners to manage the creation and modification of digital/website content.

An additional objective is to enable single sign on and multifactor authentication functionality on all Expression Engine website installations.

Project Benefits

Reduces vulnerability for the USO by limiting exposure of cyber-attacks on USG Websites.

New EE features/functions will have a new look and feel, while enhancing USG Content Managers’ capabilities.

The to-be upgraded version of the CMS will be supported by the vendor. The current version of EE is not supported by the vendor.
