Georgia Southwestern State University is excited to announce the launch of a revamped curriculum for the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, designed to meet the evolving needs of the tech industry and provide students with targeted skills for today’s job market.

Over 100 TEDx enthusiasts gathered for Georgia Southwestern State University’s (GSW) second annual TEDxGeorgiaSouthwesternU event on Friday, Oct. 20, which was an inspiring evening centered around the theme Leaving Your Mark.

It’s not often that a college student is enrolled in the same university and at the same time as her own daughter. But that was exactly the case for PJ (Riner) Wilson.

In response to regional industry workforce needs and student demand, Georgia Southwestern will launch a brand new academic degree program, a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Emerging Media, set to begin Spring 2022. GSW brought forth the proposal to the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia which was recently approved at the September board meeting
