Albany State University (ASU) has received three grants from the National Science Foundation (NSF) totaling over $3.6M.

Albany State University (ASU) welcomed eighty-nine charter members into the new Alpha Lambda Delta (ALD) chapter during an induction ceremony on Wednesday, March 13.

Albany State University and the Georgia Lottery Corporation honored HOPE and Zell Miller scholarship recipients during the Georgia Lottery Salutes HBCU and HOPE Scholars Luncheon held during the week of spring 2023 graduation.

Albany State University (ASU) is collaborating with International Business Machine Corporation (IBM) as one of 20 schools, to establish a Cybersecurity Leadership Center. The Center will provide students and faculty access to IBM training, software, and certifications at no cost.

Three Albany State University (ASU) Department of Natural Science professors, Shayla D. Williams, Brandon Henry and John Williams are partnering with Albany Area Primary Health Care (AAPHC) to measure potentially dangerous chemical concentrations among Southwest Georgia nursing mothers. The research is funded through a seed grant from the Department of Education’s Minority Science and Engineering Improvement Program (MSEIP).

Albany State University (ASU) alumni are making a difference all over the world. Recently, Candice Pitts (‘04), Ph.D., a Belizean educator, politician, and diplomat was appointed the Ambassador to the Republic of China (Taiwan) representing Belize.
