Atlanta — January 10, 2011

The Board of Regents’ meeting scheduled this week for Tues., Jan. 11 has been canceled as a result of the winter storm affecting road conditions throughout much of the state.

The Board of Regents’ meeting scheduled for Wed., Jan. 12, remains on the schedule, pending the weather. The Wed. meeting of the full board is tentatively scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. at the Board Offices in Atlanta (the Executive and Compensation Committee will meet at 10:00 a.m.).

The two-day meeting agenda has been compressed into a single day on Wed. focusing on essential board business. A final decision on the Wed. meeting will be made on Tues. and announced at that time.
