The Office of Leadership and Institutional Development has three primary functions within the University System of Georgia.
Leadership Development: To design, promote, coordinate, and deliver leadership development opportunities throughout the University System of Georgia and the University System Office.
Institutional Development: To facilitate the identification and analysis of root causes for campus issues and the development and implementation of best practices to ensure growth and development within the institution.
Campus Consolidations: To coordinate the consolidation of USG institutions, using the Board of Regents, adopted “Principles for Consolidation.”
