This chapter provides a summary overview of the internal policies and procedures of the Board of Regents Office of Facilities which relates to building projects. Related policies and procedures that will assist in understanding the make-up of the Office of Facilities and authorities delegated to the campuses are included in Appendix 1 of this manual, including the following:
- Organizational chart for the Board of Regents Office of Facilities.
- Preparation and submission requirements for bi-monthly project status reports to be prepared by the campuses for the Board of Regents Office of Facilities.
- Limits of delegated authority for the campuses to contract with design professionals and contractors.
- Limits of delegated authority for the campuses to approve invoices/periodical estimates for design professionals, environmental assessments, surveying, geotechnical services and contractors.
- Limits of delegated authority for the campuses to approve change orders.
